Midlands Hub
The Midlands initiative seeks to build on the Behavioural Science – Achieving Transformational Change conference funded by Health Education England (HEE), which took place in Birmingham during October 2018. One of the key themes that came out of the conference, was the appetite and need to establish a local behavioural science network across the Midlands and East region.
The aims of the Midlands Behavioural Science Hub is to bring together a forum for those utilising or wishing to utilise behavioural science and pilot a best practice networking hub. This could include academics, public health consultants, NHS and LA commissioners, practitioners and strategic leads, throughout the Midlands region. In doing so, we want to enable collaborative working between academia and the public sector to flourish. We aim to enable members to gain skills and knowledge in behavioural science which can be applied routinely to their work.
